Lorne Park Capital Partners Inc. Invests $2.89 Million in Benlark LP
Toronto, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – July 31, 2019) – Lorne Park Capital Partners Inc. (TSXV: LPC) (“LPCP“) is pleased to announce that it has, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Bellwether Investment Management Inc. (“Bellwether“), made a capital contribution of $2,886,000 (the “Benlark Capital Contribution“) to Benlark LP (“Benlark“), an Ontario limited partnership, governed pursuant to a limited partnership agreement dated July 27, 2017 (the “Limited Partnership Agreement“).
Benlark owns $130 million in assets under management, all of which is currently being managed by Bellwether. As consideration for the Benlark Capital Contribution, Bellwether was granted admission as a limited partner of Benlark and granted certain strategic rights and privileges under the Limited Partnership Agreement, including the right for Bellwether to remain the investment manager over the assets of the partnership, and the right of first refusal in the event the partnership receives a third party offer for its assets.
