We acquire up to 100% of the ownership of a firm either on initial closing or over time. This creates a very stable income stream that is shared with the seller while they continue to manage their client base. Upon their retirement, the next generation of advisors assumes day-to-day responsibility for client management, and we gain further margin expansion.
Our strategy affords owners the ability to continue to participate in the future growth of their business and benefit from potential new growth opportunities.
Revenues tend to be fairly stable since they are earned as a percentage of our partners' assets under management, and typically there is a low turnover within the client base. This stable and growing income stream has allowed us to pay a growing dividend annually.
We provide liquidity and/or capital for future growth and recruitment at our partner firms.
We are incentivized to help our partners grow since our revenue increases as theirs does. We drive growth through our four-part growth strategy.
Our strategy provides both a short- and long-term succession plan as well as potential equity participation in a larger public company.
Our strategy offers a unique, attractive vehicle to benefit from a tremendous demographic opportunity occurring in North America: the aging baby boomer population. We do this by focusing on the boomer investor and the boomer advisor/portfolio manager.
